A team of 12 Caravan Guard representatives are hoping to raise £7000 cycling 70 miles in this year’s Great Yorkshire Bike Ride.
The sponsored cycle ride takes place on Saturday 21st June, stretching from Wetherby in West Yorkshire to Filey on the North Yorkshire coast.
Caravan Guard has raised over £12,000 participating in the event over the last two years.
Managing Director, Ryan Wilby, tells us, “We have supported the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride for many years. My father Peter (Caravan Guard Chairman) has completed the ride for over 20 years and since 2012 we have entered a team of our own. Despite doing phenomenally last year we didn’t quite reach our £7000 target but we hope that with the help of generous sponsorship we’ll be able to do it this year!”
Now in its 31st year the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride has raised over £2.3m for Yorkshire charities including Martin House Children’s Hospice, Heart Research UK, Yorkshire Cancer Research and St. John Ambulance.
