What better way to capture your leisure vehicle travels and memories than a colourful journal?
After keeping a notebook of their family camping holidays in a trailer tent, folding camper and then a caravan, founder of Leisure Logs Journals, Carol Kaczor, wanted to create something more fun and inspiring to record her travels.
After creating a few drawings in 2018 she enlisted the help of an illustrator and they got to work creating the Caravan Journal. The Motorhome Journal followed in 2019, with a Second Edition Caravan Journal at the end of 2020.
“I’ve come to realise that travel journals are so much more than just a record of where we’ve been and what we’ve done,” said Carol. “It’s about creating memories, precious memories that can be so easily forgotten when we get home from our holiday and back to the busy day-to-day lives we lead. They’re also something for the kids to look back on, to read about the places they’ve been to, who with -grandparents, friends and other family members, maybe some that may no longer be with us anymore.
“Journals are a treasure trove of our heritage, of who we are, where we’ve come from and who inspired us to take up the hobby and continue in the footsteps of our camping family.”
