COMPETITION NOW CLOSED – Thanks to everyone who entered
Taking a bike on your motorhome or caravan holidays is great for getting out and about, as well as helping you to stay fit and healthy. And with a bit of extra power for tackling hills, an electric bike is the perfect travel companion!
As we gear up for National Bike Week in June with our guide to e-bikes, we’ve saddled up with electric bike specialists, Batribike, and have one of our star players – the Batribike Omega – up for grabs!
The Omega is a lovely step-through e-bike. At just 21.2kg with a standard Eco battery it’s the lightest in its class and very easy to handle, making it the perfect accompaniment to any caravan or motorhome holiday.
The seven-speed Shimano Nexus hub gear is easy to use with a Revoshift twist grip changer on the handlebars. The hub gears mean that you don’t have to be pedalling to change gear. So even if you have stopped in a high gear you can change to a lower one to set off again. Another benefit of hub gears is there is no derailleur to catch at the back. So if you’re fitting it onto a rack on the back of your tow car, caravan or motorhome, or putting it away in your garage you are unlikely to knock the chain off.
The front hub motor on the Omega e-bike has a soft start so there’s no drama as you set off, just easy help to take you on your ride. The handlebar-mounted LED display shows the charge level in your battery and easily allows you to change the level of assistance you would like to use. (Five levels).
The front light is also operated by a button on the display, and the rear light is incorporated into the 240 Wh battery and is “always on” when the bike is in use.
The Batribike Omega electric bike is available in a choice of two stylish colours; a gloss White Shadow or a matt Hunter Green.

I deal for leaving the Motorhome on the site then going shopping on your bike.
It would definitely help me along, towing the trike for my disabled daughter. It’s hard work.
A compete workout for my stiff old knees!!
It would hopefully help me get about with less pain
Very informative. I am looking to purchase 2 bikes later in the year and this was certainly a great guide for what to look for.
Thanks for the great feedback Terry and hope you find what you’re looking for!
Just the thing for us old codgers
Even greater if I win it!
Very good,to winning the bike
thank you
Very Interesting. My husband loves biking but at 72 I am less than keen. Winning this would mean we could both cycle together, without me moaning all the way!
Just what an old codger like me needs!
Great if I win the bike
Good luck Steven
