COMPETITION NOW CLOSED – Thanks to everyone who entered
A hitchlock is often a minimum caravan insurance security requirement as they’re an effective theft deterrent.
We’ve brought you our gear guide to caravan hitchlocks and this month we have one of our star players to give away to one lucky caravanner.
AL-KO says their Safety Premium hitchlock offers “reliable protection for your caravan or trailer”.
The AL-KO Safety Premium hitchlock is easily fitted over the hitch’s coupling handle, enabling the stabiliser handle to be lowered, providing a substantial deterrent against theft when in storage, on a pitch, or when parked up at a service station, for example. It can even be left in situ when you’re towing.
When your caravan is not hitched up to your tow vehicle, a safety ball can be inserted into the coupling head before attaching the hitchlock to prevent your tourer from being attached to another vehicle, such as a thief’s!
This premium hitchlock from the AL-KO range is made from high-strength steel, with extra drill protection, and carries a Sold Secure Gold rating. It’s suitable for use with an AKS 2004 and 3004 and is available in black or red.
