There’s a model of MAXXRAXX that will fit almost every tow bar, even a common swan neck, making it possible to tow and carry bikes at the same time – but only once you’ve checked the noseweight limitations of your towing outfit, as well as the space available between your towing vehicle and caravan and any turning restrictions.
The MAXXRAXX 2 Voyager cycle rack is fixed on to the tow bar and if attaching to a swan neck tow bar it must be fitted by a qualified MAXXRAXX specialist.
All MAXXRAXX bike carriers have a tilting facility, an inbuilt security cable, and their unique ratchet tie-down mechanism. They come supplied with fixing bolts, locating pins and two padlocks for added security. They’re made from structural steel and finished in a textured matt black coating and can take an 80kg payload.
Accessories, such as a tow height extension kit, are available to lift your bikes another 300mm to clear jockey wheel handles, gas bottles, etc, on your caravan or trailer A-frame. The height extension is supplied with a special, large padlock that locks it to the S-tube (upright) of your bike rack.
