POLL NOW CLOSED – Thanks to everyone who voted
Fed up of the wet and cold weather already? Fancy seeking out some winter sun in your motorhome?
Many motorhome owners have already told us they’ll be using their motorhome this winter, so in this month’s poll, we’d like to know if you’ll be heading for some winter sun?
Let us know if you’ll be boarding a ferry in your motorhome and heading south in search of warmer climes or if you’ll be braving the cold and staying put in the UK.
If you are seeking out the sun in your motorhome we’d love to hear where you’re travelling to – simply let us know by adding it to the comments box below.
And don’t forget to get a Green Card as a precaution if you’re travelling to Europe and check your motorhome insurance is valid. With a Caravan Guard motorhome insurance policy you can always take optional European cover of up to 270 days each year. Plus our motorhome breakdown cover can be extended to Europe for an extra premium – giving you that extra peace of mind when travelling abroad. Existing customers can check their schedule to see if they have these options selected already.
We’ll report back the results of our winter sunseekers poll in January.
In the meantime, why not check out our tips for chasing the winter sun in your motorhome as we take a look at two campsites in Spain and Portugal.
Decided to ignore brexit and headed for Spain and Portugal for our usual 6 months, getting the relevant paperwork was straight forward, we always take travel insurance as well as our EHIC so no problems there and were prepared to come home early if we needed to. Enjoying ourselves on a site near benidorm currently before heading south for the next few months. Bon voyage
Viajes seguros June!
We won’t be taking our motorhome abroad this winter. Thanks to the utterly stupid decision to leave the EU, we are worried about getting caught up in delays and confusion at the ports, the need for extra paperwork and insurance, and uncertainty whether we have sufficient time of validity on our passports. Once the dust has settled we shall resume normal travelling!
