Verdict:
This four star site set within the grounds of a privately owned château has undergone extensive redevelopment since the new managers, Delphine and Miguel, took over in 2009. It’s a case of out with the old and in with the new and it’s still work in progress. The newly refurbished toilet and laundry block is very impressive. English is spoken and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Nearby are lovely old towns and villages; if you fancy walking or hiring a bike from the site, you could explore them easily. A short drive away is one of our favourite Breton medieval cities, Dinan. But there’s plenty to do on site too.
