POLL NOW CLOSED
When on your caravan or motorhome travels almost every item you pack has an essential role in making your stay on site comfortable.
From bedding to the clothes you wear and the kitchen essentials you take along, they can all impact your comfort and the environment. One of the most common caravan/motorhome accessories is the crockery you use for your meals.
Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely breakfast al fresco or a cosy dinner inside your van, there’s a multitude of tableware to choose from. Do you prioritise durability, weight, looks, or environmental impact when choosing your plates, bowls, and cups?
In this month’s community poll, we want to know what kind of crockery you use in your caravan or motorhome.
We’ve listed some popular options for caravanners and motorhomes but if yours isn’t on the list then click “Other” and let us know by commenting below.
Bamboo tableware is lightweight, eco-friendly, and often comes in a choice of stylish designs or colours.
Some people like to bring a touch of home with them and drink and eat from a ceramic or china cup and plates. Although it can be heavier and there’s the risk of breakages when on the move.
Melamine is durable, lightweight, and practical. Will this be a favourite among many caravanners and motorhome owners?
Metal crockery is robust and will withstand the bumps of the road. But it can get hot to touch and might not be considered as good looking as other types of crockery.
Plastic crockery is affordable and light but might not be the most eco-friendly choice. However, there are some recycled plastic options available.
We’d love to hear what type of crockery you use when dining in your leisure vehicle. Simply choose from one (or more) of the options below and as always please comment about your choice of crockery and we’ll report back with the results in September.
Happy travels and happy dining! Stay tuned to see what type of crockery fellow caravanners and motorhomers prefer…
I always find it very informative. Thank you .
