POLL NOW CLOSED – Thanks to everyone who voted
It can be tempting to pack it all in when going on your caravan, campervan or motorhome holidays but we all know space (and weight) can be at a premium when touring.
In this month’s poll we’d like to know how you save space in your leisure vehicle?
We’ve kicked off with a number of options, such as folding stick furniture, and using collapsible camping gear like a Collapse kettle and water container. Maybe you could take a canopy or tarp as an alternative to an awning, inflatable furniture, stacking pots and pans or a folding bike?
We’ll report back the results in August along with a gear guide on space-saving furniture. And as always we’d love to hear your comments on how you save space in your motorhome or caravan in the box below.
Article good but we are always mindful of weight as well as space – I have a list I use for home and abroad – never take anything “just in case we need it” ooh wouldn’t I like to design a woman’s motorhome unfortunately it would be well overweight surprising how little clothes you actually need – tinned food and drink could be our heaviest – but I’m a good list maker for meals too so I’ve been told .
The article is good, but we don’t take anything that will not be used. That includes clothes, equipment etc.We have a Romahome R20 low so there is not a lot of spare space to start with, but we have always managed.
Leave the wife at home.
