Owning a motorhome or campervan can be a dream come true for many, offering a home on wheels and the promise of freedom and adventure. But turning that dream into reality will probably involve some financial planning.
In this month’s community poll, we’re looking to explore the different ways people fund their dream motorhome or campervan, as we ask the question: “How did you pay for your motorhome?”
For some, securing a bank loan is the key to unlocking their vanlife dreams and allowing the costs to be spread over time. Or, finance agreements are another popular choice for buying a new motorhome. They often involve a deposit and fixed monthly payments over a set period. Some owners might have saved up for years or used a pension pot, allowing them to pay for their motorhome or campervan outright.
Let us know how you paid for your motorhome or campervan by choosing one of the options below. We’ve also got an “Other” option if your financing way was not listed, such as possibly sharing the cost with family or friends. Simply vote and explain why in the comments. (All votes are anonymous).
Whether you took out a bank loan, entered into a finance agreement, paid in full, or paid for your motorhome in a different way, as always, we’d love to hear your comments about how you financed your dream motorhome or campervan.
Thanks for voting and we’ll report back the results in June.
As always very interesting and informative. Many thanks.
