New and improved motorhome legal cover from Caravan Guard

Our motorhome insurance legal cover has just got better with extra benefits and a new provider.

Customers who insure their motorhome with Caravan Guard automatically receive legal cover as part of their policy.

We’re now working in partnership with Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal) to provide a more extensive and bespoke level of cover to meet the needs of our motorhome policyholders.

The new policy benefits include legal costs of up to £100,000:

To pursue personal injury damages from a road accident where the policyholdee was not at fault
To recover uninsured losses for any motor vehicle you own, not just your motorhome
Resolve contractual disputes about the sale of your motorhome or anything connected with the motorhome
Plus legal costs of up to £25,000 to defend motoring prosecutions, and a 24 hour legal helpline for help on legal matters.

Legal claims pursued privately can cost hundreds or potentially thousands of pounds, as well as added unnecessary stress. We hope our new cover will take the stress out of any situations that might arise.

The new policy benefits were effective to new customers and existing customers renewing from January 1^st 2017.

Caravan Guard Product Director, Jason Ware, said the move to the new provider came after listening to the needs of our customers.

The improved legal cover is on top of a motorhome insurance policy which already offers great levels of cover and discounts for claim free drivers and those who fit security and safety devices.
