Outwell’s Van Life collection is new for the 2025 season and it covers pretty much all you’re ever going to need to make your campervan life as comfortable as possible.
A complete portfolio of products, it really does include everything, from awnings to kitchenware, tableware, storage, lights and pumps. Plus much, much more. All with the added peace of mind that they’re backed by Outwell’s two-year warranty.
In fact, Van Life is not just about campervans. Whatever type of leisure vehicle you have, or even if you use your car as the base for your camping, Van Life products can only enhance your enjoyment.
Here at Caravan Guard, we’ve got together with Outwell to offer a selection of prizes from the Van Life range, worth almost £180!
Here are some great ideas, for starters.
Choose some extra space…
Daytona Air awning
If you want more shelter, extra living/storage space or even an extra bedroom or two, you’ll soon find a campervan awning is an invaluable investment. You can choose between poled, air (i.e. inflatable), fixed and drive-away awnings within the five collections: three air and two pole.
The Daytona Air here is one of eight newcomers for the 2025 season, taking the total model count up to 26. Not only is it inflatable, it’s also a drive-away unit – which means you can leave it up on site when you head off for a day’s adventures in your campervan.
It’s designed to remain stable even in wind speeds of 10 on the Beaufort scale – that’s up to 63mph. And it boasts plenty of features that help make any Outwell awning stand out from the crowd – tinted windows, luminous guylines, heavy-duty zips, toggle-up curtains etc.
There’s a whole host of clever complements to the Daytona, too. Like its own groundsheet, footprint, carpet, inner bedroom, high-pressure electric pumps and options for making the right connection to your camper.
Top tip Think an awning could be too much? Consider a tarp and touring canopy offering under the Van Life banner.
Key features Attachment height 175cm-200cm, Outtex 3000 polyester, PVC-free air tubes, front canopy with fibreglass poles
Expect to pay £609.99 (Groundsheet is £27.99)
Sleep well
Caldera duvet double
The secret to a great camping experience? Good nights’ sleeping. The Van Life Sleep Comfort collection is a perfect place to start – here, you’ll find duvets, sleeping bags, self-inflating mats and plenty more.
The Caldera Double is a duvet that thinks it’s a sleeping bag. Or is that vice-versa? Whatever, it’s available in two other square sleeping bag variants – Supreme and Lux.
The Double majors on a super soft polyester shell and down-like hollow-fibre filling for its luxurious feel and superior insulation which, equally, won’t leave you too hot in the summer. Zip it up if you want to use it as a sleeping bag. Or unzip it fully and it’s a duvet.
A compression sack keeps it all compact when it comes to stowing – just 44cm x 21cm.
Top tip A product like this offers the best of both duvet and sleeping bag worlds – keeping you warm in winder, cool in summer, cosy all year round
Key features Polyester shell, brushed polyester lining, maximum dimensions 220cm x 220cm, machine washable, internal storage pocket, weight 1.4kg

There’s a whole host of Van Life Furniture – chairs, tables and storage – all designed to keep weight and packed size down.
The Tally Lake seat here is just one example. Pack size first, and it’s 23cm x 23cm x 86cm high, but it unfolds easily to 62cm x 65cm x 96cm, with a seat height of a 40cm. It’s also well padded, thanks to triple layer fabric that includes 6cm of insulation, and comes with a carrybag for easy transportation.

Lighting up time
Jewel lantern
Here’s a lamp that could have been made specifically for campervans. That’s because its magnetic base means you could stick it direct to your van – inside or out. Alternatively, it has a hanging function or can stand alone. And it’s a small enough size for convenient pocket carrying.
Working from a trio of AAA batteries, the Jewel offers a bright 143 lumens light.
Top tip Take a variety of lights with you on your travels – different conditions need different illuminations.
Key features Rubber coating, press down on/off operation, dimensions 6.3cm x 6.7cm diameter, weight 112g

When you’ve got to go
10L portable toilet
Most campervans don’t have their own plumbed-in toilets, so something like this is an ideal alternative, for emergency use. It has a detachable waste holding tank with latches either side and a bellows pup for flushing.
If you don’t have a suitable locker for the toilet, consider the Portable Toilet Carrybag. It’s easy to clean and also makes your toilet simpler to carry.
Top Tip Always check with the campsite you’re staying at regarding which toilet chemicals to use. There’s an increasing move towards more organic fluids.
Key features 10-litre holding tank, two-way flush system, weight 3.9kg, dimensions 35.5cm x 41cm x 29.5 cm high, seat height 29cm
Expect to pay £99.99/£17.99 (Portable Toilet Carrybag)
Cooling down time
Arctic Chill 8
Designed specifically to fit between the two cab seats of a typical campervan, even if you already have a fridge on board you might want to add this. A compressor cooler operating from 12V power, it can freeze down to -20degC, or go up to +20degC, and has a quiet – 45dB (A) – operation.
The Arctic Chill comes with integrated handles and a soft-padded lid, plus a digital touch panel for easy temperature control. You can even operate it all remotely via the Outwell app.
The Arctic Chill 8 is part of the Van Life Cooling range, which kicks off with Eagle Van cooler bags and also covers an extensive choice of coolboxes.

It’s a handy one-litre size and comes in stainless steel, including the plunger, with a removable neoprene cover that keeps the heat in when required – so it will also cope easily with any everyday camping knocks.

Collapsible catering
Collaps Kettle 1.5L, Collaps VanTrash 8L
Collapsible gear covers everything from coffee filters to colanders, buckets to bowls (food and washing-up), water containers to water carriers
Key to it all is the extensive use of silicone, which means individual items can be pushed down almost flat when not in use – perfect for storage in the often tricky confines of a campervan.
The Collaps Kettle comes in two sizes – 1.5 litres and 2.5 litres. It’s the former that arguably best suits the smaller dimensions of a campervan kitchen. Choose between four colours – Shadow Green, Classic Blue, Navy Night and Midnight Black. Dimensions are 16.5cm diameter x 14.5cm, and it packs down to a height of just 4.5cm. Its stainless steel base means it can be used on a typical campervan gas hob.
A newer addition to the Collaps series is the VanTrash, a waste bin with a maximum capacity of eight litres that can be left free-standing or held on position – on the back of a cab seat, for example – thanks to a system of mounting cords and hooks. It will take standard bin/carrier bags and can also be used outside.
Top Tip Collaps gear is dishwasher safe – ideal if you want to give it all a good clean when you get home.
Key features BPA free, lightweight (Kettle is 500g, Van Trash is 700g), break-resistant, easy to clean
Expect to pay £43.99 (Kettle 1.5L)/£19.99 (VanTrash 8L)
Get fresh?
Seabreeze Pressure Shower
Not got a shower in your campervan? How about rectifying that with this, the Seabreeze? It’s a truly portable pressure shower with a 12-litre water container, complete with built-in thermometer. It’s particularly ideal for washing down wetsuits, pets, or even just rinsing off footwear or bare feet – any time, in fact, where using a campsite shower is not feasible.
In black, you simply fill the reservoir and leave it in the sun for the water to warm up (as needed), get the pressure up via the foot pump, then shower away.
Top Tip Don’t create puddles near your vehicle’s wheels – your wheels might get stuck in the mud!
Key features PVC tarpaulin cover, foot pump, trigger-operated showerhead, weight 930g, dimensions 24cm x 12cm diameter, water level indicator
Expect to pay £54.99
Off your trolley?
Cancun Transporter
You’ve probably seen these at festivals. But they can prove practical in plenty of other ways. The Cancun will take the stress out of carrying a load of camping, picnic or other gear over tricky terrains, from bumpy fields upwards.
Its wheels are solid PVC, so there’s no chance of punctures or flat tyres, and its framework is tough steel. It’s also supplied with its own carrybag for ease of storage and portability.
Top Tip As with all bulkier items like this, do make sure it can stow securely and safely in your campervan.
Key features Powder coated steel with embossed polyester fabric, maximum load 80kg, dimensions 48cm x 96cm x 56cm high, weight 9.1kg, handle can be locked in an upright position
Expect to pay £132.99
The little things that count in a campervan…
There’s plenty more to make your touring as comfortable and carefree as possible. But sometimes it’s the small details that make all the difference.
For example, the Hanmer Trivet (£8.99) is a fold-out design in silicone that’s fully heat-resistant, ideal for protecting work surfaces and tabletops from hot pans…
The Pouch Cutlery Set Deluxe (£21.99) is a stylish set of knives, forks and spoons (two sizes) for four, with its own storage pouch (even better if your camper doesn’t have a suitable cutlery drawer).
The Hydration Water Container (£27.99) is great if you want a portable, rigid, food safe water carrier, complete with its own tap.
