Go off script with the Bailey Endeavour
Arriving this Autumn and making its debut at the 2023 Motorhome & Caravan Show, Bailey has revealed its first-ever panel van conversion range – the all-new Bailey Endeavour.
Built on a 3.5 tonne ‘Chrome Blue’ Ford Transit, all Bailey Endeavour models are powered by the latest 2.0 litre 155 bhp engine with a six-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
The campervan’s high spec cab includes a host of features with air conditioning and cruise control as standard, plus a full in-vehicle infotainment system, featuring a 12” touchscreen, incorporating a DAB radio with Apple Carplay /Android Auto, satellite navigation, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
There’s also a factory-fit rear-view camera and front and rear parking sensors to cut down on those manoeuvring mishaps which will attract a discount on your campervan insurance with Caravan Guard.
Bailey will also be unveiling an Endeavour EV concept vehicle for the first time at the forthcoming NEC Show.

What Bailey says
“We’re delighted to announce the arrival of the Endeavour – our first panel van conversion range – later this year,” said Bailey of Bristol Managing Director Nick Howard. “Panel van conversions remain the fastest growing sector in the UK leisure vehicle market and consequently we feel that it is now the right time to expand our product offering and introduce the Bailey brand to a wider audience. Work on the commissioning of a separate new production line at our South Liberty Lane plant is approaching completion and we are looking forward to beginning manufacturing the first Endeavour models at the end of this year.
Interesting Endeavour facts
The Bailey Endeavour has been tested to the limits having travelled 2,735 miles from its Bristol home to the wilds of the Saharan desert in North Africa during Bailey’s Sahara Challenge.
It’s also endured Bailey’s cold climate-controlled chamber, plunging the Endeavour campervan into temperatures that hit -15°C outside whilst maintaining a +20°C inside.
The Bailey Endeavour EV
The Endeavour EV is a fully operational panel van conversion developed in partnership with Ford Pro and is based on their E-Transit platform. Although it is not intended for this motorhome to go into production, it does show a potential direction of travel for leisure vehicle design in future.
This vehicle has been developed very much with sustainability in mind with all services and appliances used in the Endeavour EV being fully electric, meaning no fossil fuels are needed to power the motorhome when in use.
Low-carbon recycled materials, particularly in the work surfaces, upholstery fabrics and furniture handles, have also been used throughout its construction.
Plus, the design includes a number of exciting new features not currently seen in existing Bailey leisure vehicle ranges, including an adaptable living space with working, lounging and sleeping modes plus a voice-controlled lighting system – both of which offer owners the potential to customize their vehicle.
There’s more information on the Bailey Endeavour campervan range on the Bailey website and stay tuned for a full review later this year.
