Despite the proliferation of ever more complex interior lighting systems in modern day caravans, you often find you want to add more. That’s not just in the ‘van but more especially in the awning – be it reading lamps or mood lighting.
Some owners even go as far as adding lights to the outside of their caravan, awning or windbreak.
But there’s no doubt that extra caravan lighting can enhance your space and make evenings more inviting, whether cooking, reading, or relaxing in the awning. Caravan lights aren’t just practical — they can add a touch of style and warmth.
Top tips for buying caravan lighting
- As ever with any electrical items, keep an eye on wattage. You don’t want to accidentally trip out your mains supply.
- LEDs are very low consumers of power. Nevertheless, do be aware of any consequences of using extra electrical items.
- Items designed for caravanning or camping use tend to be more suited to coping with small knocks etc, as well as coping with outside weather.
