Some motorhomers swear by windscreen covers (also known as silver screens or thermal blinds), while others might be yet to try them.
As we bring you our new guide to motorhome windscreen covers, we’d love to know how many of our readers use them.
The benefits are clear, a windscreen cover will help to curb condensation in your motorhome, regulate the temperature inside your motorhome, offer added privacy, and an externally fitted screen will shield against heavy rain, frost and snow.
They come in many styles and materials and are typically easy to fit and remove. Some are placed on the outside of your motorhome windscreen or internal covers fit inside, making them easier to install and less exposed to wear from harsh weather.

We’ll report back the results in December.
I have never seen one to fit an A class with the door on the drivers side.
I find my external windscreen cover makes a considerable difference to the insulation on cold nights. Wouldn’t be without one.
Had internal covers and had lots of condensation bought insulated external covers( recommended by a friend)no condensation best thing ever bought saves the water running down the back of the dashboard.
Keeps the van cooler in very hot weather and stops condensation in colder months as well as adding warmth.
My windscreen cover is not the insulated type, its main purpose is to keep the leaves and seeds from a sycamore tree away from the engine bay when parked up at home, and the windscreen scuttle which it serves its purpose very well.
