Award judges at have been quick to recognise the quality and value of the Trigano Transit motorhome range created by Auto-Trail for the UK market.
Practical Motorhome heaped praised on the Trigano T620 motorhome, based on the very latest Transit motorhome chassis, by making it both their best budget buy motorhome and overall motorhome of the year for 2010 within months of its launch.
But the accolades haven’t stopped there – the Tribute T725 has been voted budget buy winner at the Which Motorhome 2011 awards. The T620 was runner-up in the same category.
The Tribute T720 is Which Motorhome’s runner up in the best family motorhome category while the T620 has gained a quality nominated award.
Back at Practical Motorhome, the T720 was runner-up as best family motorhome, too.
The new Tribute models are based on the very latest innovation for motorhome chassis, the Ford Transit, and the combination won high praise from the judges – “awesome” is the word used by Practical Motorhome.
They are the result of 75 years’ experience distilled into one product thanks to the 45 years of development for the Transit and the 30 years of experience in making motorhomes gained by Humberside-based Auto-Trail.
Skilful construction techniques, but still using the same high-end interiors as the rest of the Auto-Trail range, means the £33,495 Tribute T620 has a payload of 730 kgs, enabling families to take all the gear they want when they travel.
“What’s not to like about the new Transit Tribute?” asked the Practical Motorhome judges. “It’s great to see a British company taking the lead and making motor-caravanning more readily available to the masses in these difficult financial times.”
All these awards reinforce both the value and quality to be found in the Transit-based models, which are produced in Auto-Trail’s North Lincolnshire factory alongside the regular Auto-Trail models.
“In the current climate, many people are turning to motorhome ownership to maximise their holiday enjoyment,” said Scott Stephens, general sales and marketing director for the Auto-Trail Group.
“The Tribute models are gaining wide acceptance among motorhome users and on the strength of these awards it’s easy to see why.”
All four models T620, t625, T720 and T725 will be making an appearance at the Boat and Caravan show NEC, Birmingham on the Auto-Trail stand 3160.
Lovely MH we are thinking of buying one but are worried that there is no spare wheel. We are planning to tour in Europe and we think that a spare wheel is important. Would be grateful for any comment/advice.
Thanks.
