Look out for an unveiling of Exclusive caravan models from Swift’s Sprite range for the 2025 season – making them easily the most upmarket Sprites yet from a badge that boats a proud history of budget caravanning.
Space adventure
It includes this rather unusual twin axle caravan, the Quattro MB, and with it Swift has also come up with a floorplan that has no direct rivals.
In this video we walk you through the 2025 Swift Sprite Quattro MB Exclusive caravan:
Other manufacturers list keenly priced six-berth caravans in their line-ups, but none has anything like this – with its L-shaped lounge at the front and transverse French bed at the back.
And, with a dinette along its offside to supplement those sat at the very front (where you also get a free-standing table), there’s sufficient space for a full family to live here, complete with sleeping accommodation for up to six. That side dinette converts into bunk beds to create two of your berths.
The kitchen runs along the nearside mid-‘van, with an extending worktop that partially cuts across the main doorway, and a good array of storage.
Full credit to Swift for not compromising with a small fridge, too. It’s a full-scale Thetford unit with a freezer compartment and a total 142-litre capacity.
There’s no stinting on the cooking facilities, either – there’s a full cooker with a dual-fuel hob of three gas burners and an electric hotplate, with a separate grill and oven, supplemented by a flatbed microwave oven, safely housed over the sink/worktop area away from the hob.
Similarly, the Swift Sprite Quattro MB Exclusive washroom facilities don’t hold back, either. They’re divided between a shower cubicle on the nearside, toilet room offside, both en-suite to that double bed at the back.
The former features an Ecocamel showerhead on a riser bar, while the latter’s amenities include a swivel-bowl toilet and a neatly inset handbasin, along with plenty of open shelving, a lower-level locker, towel and toilet roll holders, with a rooflight for ventilation.
Swift has also used the new 2025 season as an opportunity to introduce a lot of upgrades to its Sprite Exclusive caravans. Everything from external mains and gas sockets to heavy-duty corner steadies to a wireless phone charger pad.
A 120-watt solar panel is also standard-fit on this next generation of Sprites. There’s even a rather stylish touchscreen panel for operating the main facilities and checking levels etc.
Other fittings of note in this Swift Sprite Quattro MB Exclusive caravan range from the Duvalay mattress for the rear bed to fixings to add a bike rack already in place on the back wall. An exterior-access hatch provides a way of getting at the storage space under the bed.
And there’s a notable upping of the safety and security you get as standard – items like ATC traction control, a passive infra-red alarm system, and receivers for an Al-Ko axle wheel lock – which together would have set you back the best part of £1,000. Plus, they’ll contribute to savings on your caravan insurance premium with Caravan Guard.
Hardly surprising, then, that factory-fitted options are limited. You’ll need to speak to your supplying dealer about the likes of air conditioning, on-board wi-fi (for which there’s pre-wiring) and the like.
Like all current Sprites, the bodywork is strong on GRP – it’s used for the outer and inner walls, roof and underside, with the main framework using polyurethane blocks rather than traditional timber. Indeed, the only wood is a ply layer deeply embedded in the floor section. As with all Swift tourers, it’s all backed by a 10-year integrity warranty.
The grey/silver side colouring of the Swift Sprite Quattro MB Exclusive caravan is also on trend for 2025. Along with features such as the black, diamond-cut alloy wheels, chrome grab handles etc, it’s a very modern overall look while, on the road, you’ll benefit from twin axle stability.
Swift is keeping its Sprite Exclusives to a select number of dealers on the British mainland – under 30 at the time of writing. Just remember, Swift quotes ex-works only prices for its tourers these days. Expect to add anything up to £600 to get your Sprite on the road.
