A dash of Italian styling? A bit of British know-how? An attractive price? It’s all here in the McLouis Fusion 330 motorhome, which sees a few changes for 2025 but retains a very competitive window tag of £77,495.
Into the mix
The British bits? That starts with the habitation door on the UK nearside (not always the case with imported motorhomes).
Step inside and turn left and you’ll see another feature that you don’t normally associated with foreign vehicles – a rear lounge with U-shaped seating, over which is the first of two electrically operated drop-down beds – a 1.90m x 1.30m maximum/1.10m minimum double at the back, a 1.91m x 0.81m single at the front; the fourth bed is made by adapting the rear lounge.
Let’s take a walk around the 2025 McLouis Fusion 330 motorhome:
In daytime mode, the rear lounge has opening windows to three sides, plus there’s a bracket for adding a flatscreen TV. The table here is on a fixed pedestal leg with plenty of height, fore and aft adjustment.
Then there’s the front lounge, with its L-shaped rear seat (with three-point belts and Isofix, for safe travel), which combines with the swivelled cab seats, and also has a fixed pedestal leg for dining.
There’s less British influence in the kitchen, where space is at something of a premium. The two-ring hob is at right angles to the sink, with a combined oven and grill below it.
There’s a lack of worktop, however, despite the generous 142-litre fridge with freezer and a decent array of storage – drawer with cutlery tray, floor lockers, single shelved high-level locker and a small metal shelf.
Across from the kitchen, you step up into the washroom, with its shower and swivel-bowl toilet facilities plus a fixed handbasin.
Folding doors help create a shower area – there are two drainage points under the removable wooden duckboard and the basin’s tap extends for use as the shower outlet, with a clipping point on the ceiling.
There’s also a rooflight plus a single locker, set high. A generous wardrobe is within easy reach of the washroom.
There’s lots about the 2025 McLouis Fusion 330 motorhome to show you it offers that little bit more. A full four-berth, with nearly 600kg of payload available, either of the chassis upgrade options seems unnecessary. There’s even a small garage area, ideal for outdoor seating and other furniture, cooking gear and more.
The solar panel is rated at 200Watts. The blown air heating and hot water system is Truma’s more powerful Combi 6E.
McLouis’ bodywork is timber-free and the exterior is GRP, which also includes the underside, while the windows are flush-fitting and the alloy wheels are standard. Worth knowing, too, is all 2025 McLouis Fusion motorhomes come with silver sides as well as white cabs.
Among the details are reading lamps on stalks with USB sockets for the double bed, a good mix of other LED lighting, flyscreen for the habitation door, removable floor carpets, overcab sunroof, cassette blinds and flyscreens to the living quarters windows, 100-litre fresh and waste water tanks and more.
Fiat’s venerable Ducato underpins the four-model Fusion series. As standard you get the 140bhp engine with six-speed manual transmission, but there are options to upgrade. In the cab, there’s an upmarket Pioneer infotainment system with colour reversing camera. And the air conditioning is automatic.
