Look out for a new – or rather, reintroduced, model in Coachman’s Acadia line-up as we hit the 2025 season. It’s the 460 – a two-berth caravan with a full-width end washroom.
Welcome to the family
As far as Coachman is concerned, Acadia is its “entry-level” caravan range. Anywhere else the Arcadia range would be considered luxury models, in terms of the way they’re built and their overall specification.
In this video, we take a look around the 2025 Coachman Acadia 460 caravan:
The Coachman Acadia 460 caravan gets all the new-season upgrades of its sister models, starting with new 3D graphics.
While inside, some of the enhancements to look out for (or feel) include a new foam for the seating/bedding, a change of soft furnishing finish, locker doors with hidden handles and “halo” ambient lighting, an improved ceiling console with downlighting, Bluetooth speaker system and plenty more. There’s more throughout, too, in terms of matt black trims to key details – handles, catches, sockets, taps etc and Acadia’s “Tuscan Geo” wallcovering in the kitchen and washroom.
Like all Coachman’s caravans, the Acadia 460 has a fully bonded body that’s backed by a 10-year water ingress warranty. And it sports the Acadia family look with a twin locker front, silver-grey sides, matt black grab handles, the “visor” over the three flush-fitting front windows, black alloy wheels etc.
Step inside and there’s the instant assurance of a proven layout that offers plenty of living space for two people. There’s a handy ledge over a potential shoe locker just inside the door (while the door itself holds a waste bin). There’s a definite clean-cut look to the furniture and furnishings, leaving it to you to add any splashes of colour as you wish.
You’ll notice the lack of curtains to the lounge windows, keeping things clean and smooth.
In the kitchen, you’ll spot new taps, splashback panel, worktops, locker doors, and more as well as the usual full cooker (three gas rings, electric hotplate, separate oven and grill) and inset stainless steel sink.
There’s a worktop extension and good locker space, albeit the slide-out cutlery tray is a bit minimalist. And there’s just the one mains socket.
There’s a 91-litre Thetford fridge under the worktop and just aft of the settee on the nearside, the unit here also offers a low-level locker.
At upper level, a Russel Hobbs flatbed microwave oven is set at a convenient height with open shelving next to it.
The washroom continues the theme of black finish to the fittings (toilet roll holder, towel ring, mixer tap, holder for the toothbrush mug etc), also offering plenty of space for changing – there are upper and lower corner wardrobes here, too, plus a second wardrobe next to the shower.
There’s a Thetford swivel-bowl toilet with an opaque window behind and a countertop basin on the back wall, while the nearside is given over to a separate, plastic-lined shower cubicle accessed by a single door.
At night, there’s the choice of two single beds or a double from the lounge seating, and underneath drop-down “bed boxes” will come in handy for storing heavy items down low.
Bed dimensions are 1.84m x 0.70m for the singles or 2.01m x 1.72m if you prefer to make up the double.
As you’d expect from any Coachman caravan, there’s a generous level of standard equipment. Alde central heating and hot water is something you would not expect in a so-called budget caravan, for starters.

I have Coachman 2 berth and it is very good but seeing this one really makes me envious. It continues the high standard of equipment supplied without being ‘fussy’
I can see curtains in the lounge???
Hi Peter, there are “curtains” framing the windows but they don’t pull on to cover the windows
