What is an ‘express settle’?

For some claims, we may be able to offer a faster ‘express settlement’, where you accept an agreed amount of money to proceed with repairs or replacement goods yourself. To make sure any necessary repairs are completed, we may apply a ‘pre-existing damage’ endorsement to your policy until you’re able to send us a full engineer’s report confirming the repairs have been completed.
